Guide to standard sizes

Here is a list of the recognised sizes and names of online banner adverts

Generally all banners are made with Adobe Flash. The exceptions are animated Gifs. Gifs are difficult to animate while keeping the file size small and not interactive. But email clients, like Outlook, do not support Flash. Gifs are ideal for email adverting, like signiture banners.
